Minolta Autocord Repair

I don't know if this is the right forum to ask this question but..............
I have a Minolta Autocord that has suddenly forgot how to advance the film.
The film transport is not working properly and sometimes doesn't stop at the next frame....sometimes goes a frame and a half...sometimes only a half a frame...sometimes 2 or 3 frames.
I took off the side cover and looked at the mechanism but didn't do anything because everything looks like it operates ok...just not with film in it.
I know if I start digging into it I will end up with a pile of gears and screws and a camera that doesn't work in many pieces rather than one that doesn't work in one piece so, if it's affordable to me, I need to engage a professional.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a Minolta Autocord repair person?

Karl Bryan is the acknowledged expert on Autocord repairs. He's in Oregon, I believe. I forget his email address, but I've seen it cited numerous times. I think it's karlkathy@something or other -- hopefully someone else will chime in. But he is the guy you want!

Another vote for Karl Bryan. He serviced my Autocord a couple of years ago and did a beautiful job. The camera came back looking and performing as close to new as is possible for a nearly 60 year old camera. His turn around time is quite fast as well.
