I can be there Saturday. I think I might try to be at point Gellibrand on the Thursday, too.

Retirement is an excellent career choice!

I might take off a day on the Thursday as well. Probably see you at Point Gellibrand. Hope 300mm for 6x7 will be sufficient to get some good shots.

BTW: an hour ago we saw three dolphins at Ferguson Street pier in Williamstown. Just a few meters away from us. Amazing.

Sorry for the confusion with the dates. The confusion started because this website states that the festival runs until Sunday, 15 September, while the detailed program on this website shows that the festival already ends on Saturday, 14 September.

Therefore, I propose we now meet on

Saturday, 14 September, at 8am

at the entrance of Seaworks (82 Nelson Place) in Williamstown for the Tall Ship Festival.

Confirmed participants for far:

munz686
fdisilvestro
OldBikerPete

The boss has granted me a day-pass. Must be back at a "reasonable" hour, else all privileges will be suspended indefinitely.
:D

Don't I know what this is like. It's hard when the Boss is also the Minister of Finances and you don't quite have enough of your own pocket money.

Hi guys, can't make Saturday unfortunately. I don't finish up at work until 23rd September, but had taken 14th and 15th off so that I could make it for the Sunday. Sorry.

Just a short reminder... coming up this weekend.

Can't make it on Saturday - sporting commitments. Hope you get some good light!!

G'day all, I was planning on coming, chatted with Shane about it on Saturday too, but just say the date change, so I won't be able to after all, I'm working Saturday  Anyone interested in making a secondary outing on Sunday?

Sunday is a possibility. Madame is miffed she can't make the Saturday visit.
/Frank

Saturday is still good for me. Hoping to be there in time for a sunrise. Sunday is a possibility for a return trip.

I may be up for a Sunday meet in the area.. Maybe something more industrial?

Sunday is now looking a lot better for me than Saturday, so I would be keen, Raoul. Anybody else for Sunday? Ideas for a meeting place and time? Let's still aim for about 8 am.
