I hope to be moved back by September, so please put me down.

We will most likely be north of Birdsville about the time this is happening, so unfortunately we will miss it.

We have been to one before, very nice if you can board a ship of some sort. I found a wide angle on-board and a telephoto on shore, seemed to to work for myself.

Mick.

to bump this thread - I post a random picture of me & Mike (whose return to Melbourne/Geelong has inspired this get-together burst of energy) from a previous APUG catchup.

Marc!

Bother. I am out. Out of country on work from 2nd to 22nd of Sept. Hope pictures are posted here.

I hadn't ever seen this shot, but I think I should have taken a pic of what was behind us Marc, instead of the choir.

We need to change the date. According to the program, the tall ships depart on Saturday, September 14, at about 10am. There will be no tall ships on Sunday. Most tall ships arrive on Saturday, September 7, at about 10:30am. I guess there will be less spectators on the departure day than on the arrival day. A good day to take pictures should be Thursday, September 12, when the tall ships will be sailing in front of Point Gellibrand but I guess most of us will need to work on that day. Therefore I propose meeting one day earlier than originally planned, on Saturday, September 14, at 8am. Joachim
