Greetings, all. I had posted this over at Large Format a while back and received a couple of replies, including one from a person who posts here, but thought I'd see if someone else here may have a source or idea yet undiscovered. I have been trying for more than a month to get a reply from Manfrotto.
The star-shaped knobs on my used 3025 are hard for me to turn, in my advancing years, especially the forward tilt one, due to its placement. One responder at LGF has replaced his with some kind of furniture knob, which he found with the right screw already attached and simply had to shorten it. I have searched around and had trouble locating a good knob, and then would have to replace the screw with the help of someone with appropriate tools and know-how. I have seen a photo of one with a paddle- or handle-type replacement, but a knurled knob of suitable size would also suffice.
Any ideas or sources?
Thanks.
