Hello

I recently got a C300s that came with a bad (fungus) 80mm lens. I now have a 105mm DS but have noticed that the infinity focus point is not with the bellows fully retracted (like with the 80mm) but quite a bit further out. Is this normal or is there an issue with the viewing lens? I had a RB67 before and all lenses focused at infinity with the bellows all in so I find this situation weird!

Thanks

As luck would have it, I happen to have a C330S with a mounted 105mm DS lens sitting on the desk right here next to me. So I just walked outside and focused on a distant tree line and the bellows appears to require about 0.95 inches of extension from the fully retracted position to achieve sharp focus with that lens.

Does this match yours?

Ken

Yes, sounds about right. The focus chart matches it too so I guess it is what it is! Thanks for your help
