The last thing I heard about the color reversal film was that it was in early testing around .5 years ago and was very slow, like EI 3 or something. Also had an interesting purple base color. Has the speed improved?

No.

I don't hold out any hope that they'll speed things up.

Thank you for trying. The C400 and color reversal film will be available shortly.

Wow, colour reversal would be awesome! There are only two suppliers at present, Kodak and Fujifilm, and the latter produces increasingly little. A third option would be great.

Need this stuff in sheet film. 11x14 would be fuuuuun.
I’ve been trying to contact lucky to inquire about custom film widths, they’re basically impossible to contact from the YS though.

They won’t even respond to questions about the blue stripes—they just won’t respond.

All I know is that 11x14=154.
Ah, the reference is to 11x14 inch film size. That's a pretty big negative and indeed, a contact print from such a (color) negative would be magnificent!

Thanks for the follow-up on the various questions & comments and also for posting additional examples!

This roll of film has some slight streaking, especially in the fifth photo.

I only see some banding that's caused by the scanner:

It's also in the first photo, in exactly the same place, and I bet it's actually in every single photo scanned on this scanner. It's in the green channel, specifically.

I don’t know what to say. Last year, Lucky Film officially acknowledged that there were issues with their film and offered a replacement service. After shooting a few rolls, I had them developed at two different places—one was Lucky Film’s official service, and the other was a local photo lab—and both used Noritsu 1800 machines, and both the results came back with streaks. Right now, I’ve only learned how to load the film and press the shutter button, so I can’t professionally analyze exactly where the problem lies. That’s why I don’t know what to say (though, of course, I can adjust shutter speed and aperture, and I even maintain the Kowa Six lens). By the way, I don’t know what to say (hahahahahahaha).

This is the first I'm hearing about Lucky making any slide film. I'm very interested to see how it turns out.

It’s not going to be anything like Kodak or Fuji slide. It’s very slow, like EI 3, and it didn’t look particularly true to life from the one sample image I saw…

So are lots of us! Fingers crossed for a slide film.

Any slide film is welcome. At present, Alaris is using extortionate pricing in the EU, with 135-36 roll of Ektachrome costing 10€ more than in it costs in the USA. EU prices are in the range of 29€ (33.50 USD), while US price is around 22 dollars (18.50 €)+ local sales tax. And Fuji - availability is not stabile.

At today's exchange rate, the price of this item here is $27.59.

According to the staff at Lucky, they do not have film base of sufficient thickness for producing large format color film, and there are currently no plans to manufacture large format color negative film.
