Raising this thread from the dead...
After an extended delay in getting my darkroom functional, I have started using Ethol LDP @ 1:1 in my Nova Slot processor. I want the coldest tones possible and it's doing a good job with Ilford MGRC Deluxe.

However, due to my many starts/stops during printing today (finding endless problems with equipment stored for extended periods of time and my general disorganization), I only managed to get 7 - 8 x 10 prints processed before ending the session.
I know the old LDP replenishment instructions for 1:1 state you should add 10 oz of stock solution for every 30 prints when using 1/2 gallon tank volume. The Nova has a 2 liter capacity per slot (close enough to 1/2 gallon), so I was wondering if I should start replenishing at 1/3 of an ounce per print OR wait until I hit 30 prints?
I am currently a low volume printer, but I would rather keep the solution up to strength and avoid the "death-spiral" of the developer.
Also, some suggest replenishment before printing, some after; what say you?
Thanks.
