My Leica Ms are the only cameras that give me 39 exp on a 36 exp roll:

The trick to get this? None, just follow Leica's loading instructions. Drop the film in, close it up. Wind on.
The quick loading system really is that good.

There's something wrong with your camera. The film came out with all these colors and the blacks, grays, and whites are missing. Also, the images seem to be somewhat positive.

Are you sure? I don't see what you're seeing. (but it does sound quite remarkable!)

I thought about mentioning that but it seems so negative to point it out after he worked so hard to drain the offending color off of the pictures.

That was quite a reversal.

damn it all. I was carrying my M6 in my left hand when my dentist called me. Of course, rather than setting the camera down and then juggling my cell phone, I dropped it! The damage was limited to the rewind knob which is now slightly deformed but will still turn, the flip out nob will no longer go into the slot! Fortunately, I had my inexpensive and tank-like TT Artisan lens on the body. That didn't seem to take any sort of hit. So I've ordered a replacement rewind knob. I figured I could do that but wasn't exactly prepared for the cost. That little knob was $80 from the Leica store. I know, I prolly could have found it cheaper on Ebay but a first look on that site didn't indicate there were any for sale. The knob looks easy enough to replace. 1 screw loosened and the bent up one comes off. Am I right?

Is that a scanned archive sheet? Does it seriously work that good?

Yes it is, and yes it does.
Leica even provides the instructions as a diagram in the film loading chamber base to show you.
It is designed for the film to just be dropped in. Then the bottom reattached. And that's all you do.

I find it quizzical that the famous Leica shop/seller Tamarkin does not know this, and posted a video showing a way to load film that basically wastes four exposures.
As well as being very fiddly to load.

Bummer! A wrist strap might prevent future mishaps.
Sadly, I have one of those really nice leather camera cases (mine's the green one) now and it has the wrist strap. I was in the process of sliding the loop around my wrist when the phone call made me drop it.

On the up side, my dentist is so damn hot and I'm pretty sure she's into me. At least, that's what her assistant whispered to me the last time I was in to see her.... by the way, Dr. Hottttt called me on a saturday morning to come and see her. Do dentists usually work on saturdays?

No, but this is one of the perks that Leica haters get riled up about. It's not that dentists own Leicas, it's that hot dentists are attracted to those who own Leicas.

Yep! She was fascinated by my M6. Or was it the fact that it was in my lap while she was looking at my teeth...
