Hmm, As the crow flies I am much closer to Gay than the other 2 in my group, yet I am still waiting (eagerly) for her print. Is it CanadaPost living up to the name snailmail, or has it been held at the border as a security risk?
I'll let you know, Gay, when it arrives. Sly

I've just gone home for lunch and found Fintan's print had arrived. I don't know why you were worried -- it's excellent. I really like those kind of portraits done in lith. Thank you very much.

Cheers

I received a print of Ida today from Matti. It's a very nice print, I love the expression on her face. I'm really going to miss Fortezo also. After Kentmere Art Classic was discontinued, Fortezo became my favorite. Thank you.

I recieved Gay's lovely leafy IR/Lith print early in the week, and Fintan's very different group portrait on Friday. Thank you both. Sly

Hi Travis,
I am glad you liked it. I just secured 10 more boxes of Forteezo mixed with some matte Bromofort. So I can keep on playing for a while.

OK, I'm jealous. I only have 3 boxes left.

So far I have received prints from Matti and Travis, both wonderful prints.

I have been seriously procrastinating, but finally sent my prints out yesterday. I had intended to put them in mats, but as I've received unmatted prints, I left those out.

Thanks guys,

- Thomas

I received a print from Mark Layne today. It really is a lovely print. Just echoing Matti's question, did you use IR for this photo? The tonality is very nice and the shadow detail is right on.

I've already been told by my better half that I need to make room on our wall for it. :D

Likewise here. My print from Mark arrived yesterday, and I absolutely love it. It's an awesome print with beautiful color. It is definitely going to be matted and eventually framed.
I guess my print is the lingering one....

I got a print from Thomas Bertilsson yesterday and I really like it. The Fomatone Classic MG produces some really special colors that I haven't seen with Forte. I am really bad at putting down the correct names of the colors, though. I probably have some bad self esteem at naming colors because some ophthalmologists have said that I am color blind... Anyway the colors work great with that darkened wood in the house and the slight flare (or is it mist) behind in the woods.
Thanks!

I've just received a lovely matted print from Sly. It's a close-up of some sandstone. The lith process really shows off the texture of the rock. Many thanks for the print.

That completes the round for me. It's been excellent, I've enjoyed both the making and receiving. Anyone up for another round?

Cheers

I'm sort of in again in-principle, but I struggled to get my print done in time, and in fact am still short receiving one back; I wonder if there's an argument for allowing more time this round?

So if we are only five, why not have one group of five people and just start this new round of the lith print exchange right now. Maybe we should allow, as Tim mentioned, more time.

ciao

The sooner we start, the more time we get!

(Reminds me of when I were in Sri Lanka and in a hurry at a restaurant. After one hour, we told them we were in a hurry, and asked if they would bring our food soon. "Oh you are in a hurry? You should have come earlier, then!" I think they were right.)

I do agree on that, though. I want to explore some new stuff, a more gentle fixer and some Moersch chemicals that are on the way from Fotoimpex.
