Sorry Matti, don't know how I skipped you on the last list.

Ok, so if everyone is comfortable with the October 31 mailing date and 4 in a group, let's do it. I've got prints ready to go out the door so any date works for me.

One last call for anyone else to join or unjoin and we'll start making up the groups

I think I'll have to drop out this time around. I have a couple of shows I want to print for in that time frame. Given that I need to really learn how to lith print, I really won't be able to hit the dates. Definitely in next time!

10/31 Sounds good - 4 different prints or 4 the same?

Ok, there are 18 of us, we can do 3 groups of 4 and 2 groups of 3 or we can do 2 groups of 4 and 2 groups of 5.

The other thing is that I'm thinking we'll just do a random pick for the groupings cause I'm not sure where to place most of us experience wise.

I think 3 groups of 4 and two groups of 3 would be better. As far as just random groups, I'm all for it.

I guess we are all busy people with other jobs and family interferences so I would say 3 of 4 and 2 of 3. It is hard for me to find time in the darkroom anyway but I love lith and this will make it sure I get there soon. Thanks Mateo for organizing.

So, if we are 18 we could also go with six groups of three people.

For me the hardest part of an exchange is done, as I already decided which negative to use

I am looking forward to this.

ciao

hopefully we're all ready to go. I came up with a random grouping and now all we got to do is exchange addresses by PMs. Any last second withdrawls please let me know soon.

Please count me in. I was thinking of suggesting this myself, but my organizational skills stink.

PMs sent

I've sent my particulars to Group 2. Hope to beat the deadline, but you never know what life will throw in your way. Sly

group 5, your prints are done, they are drying/flattening as we speak, will get them in the post at the weekend probably. not that that matters as the royal mail have just gone on stike for the best part of a week....

Hey group 4, I printed yesterday and the prints are being flattened right now. They will go out this week. Hope you will like them.

Regards

Well, the good news is I set down to my first ever lith session this evening! Yay!

The bad news is... I'm going to be buying some more paper ... I think a few more iterations are going to be required before I come up with something acceptable for the exchange!

Still, plenty of time...

Ruediger's beautiful print arrived today - with a really nice letter as well, thank you! That's what I love about these exchanges - it's so unusual to receive anything through the post that actually makes you smile these days; it's a rare treat
