The main topic of this video from Poland in 1957, is an automobile prototype called the "Smyk" which opened from the front like the BMW Isetta of its era and had four forward gears and four reverse gears, but if you look from about 5-6 seconds in, you'll see someone using a Linhof Super Technika IV 6x9 handheld out the window of another car.

I too look for cameras on scene at newsreels. Just yesterday found the same camera in some newsreel.

I feel like I'm not looking for them, but I can't help noticing when they appear.

Perhaps "looking for" was too far fetched. But when I see photographers in newsreels I look at their gear, especially with different fashions in cameras worldwide.

looks like a fun car. I love how it really bounces on those springs ... that's quality!

A neighbour has a soviet car in daily use for more than fifty years, still looks good.
