FYI: the videos on the web page didn't load for me; I get this error message:

The videos worked absolutely fine for me, I’m on the chrome app on iPhone. I think you were having similar issues before so I think whatever browser you’re using just doesn’t like the videos.

It works OK on Chrome and Edge, not on Firefox. Firefox is fairly strict when it comes to correct declaration of MIME types; probably for security reasons.

Cool update! As a medium format user I see some interesting work and potential.
Particularly the Easy loading tab in the spools. Then I guess the respective punch in the backing paper to catch the film in spool. A suggestion there: Use the cross type flanges together with the Easy loading tab and then there is a hybrid of what each manufacturer is using!

If you also create some non-reactive backing paper there is potential to be a provider for the other film manufacturers. Might be a chance given the problems encountered the last years with mottling and printthrough.

And, because I am a user of the larger medium formats (6x9), even in a future, it might be a way to manufacture 220. Methinks a serious yet small scale project could be able to do this. Own backing paper does with the MOQ legacy issues, then something between huge industrial and manual spooling for right sized manufacturing.

This! I have also asked about custom width backing papers for older roll formats, I was told that it’s a solid maybe, depending on demand.

Yup! They have said 220 is seriously being considered, I’ve asked.

What I would personally love to get is backing paper printed with custom colors on the head/tail. I have an unhealthy obsession with green, so if I could get green 120/220 papers I could roll film in when selling that would make me unbelievably happy.

I know that some companies in the past have done something similar, agfa 120 used to be a really obnoxious yellow on the ends, but just had regular black on white Ilford markings in the middle. I don’t know if I have any pictures of it, I’ll have to check.

Attached are some of my LLL 50mm Elcan shots with FP4, PyrocatHD 4+3+900 1 hour EMA. Thanks for bringing back this lens! Can you make a 28mm viewfinder soon? Sorry tangent...Film looks great so far and I'll vote for 220 length!
