MySQL database connections are exhausted. Time to restart Apache and kill any zombie php threads still holding DB connections. Hopefully they have contacted their hosting provider and they are working on the issue.

The "contracted host provider" is some generous guy letting the forum running on one of his servers in his basement. He has a $dayjob$ and a life, but hopefully it will be attended to soon.

So if you give someone a penny for their thoughts but they end up giving you their two cents worth, who cheated whom?

When the site comes back online, I am going to raise the question of whether a modest voluntary fee, similar to APUG, would allow the LFPF to move to a more reliable server. I, for one, get enough information and enjoyment from the site to justify it.

I don't have the time today to be engaged in any food fights there anyway. Gosh. I wonder if this will even be a large format weekend. Depends on how heavy the rain is.

I spent the night developing 8 sheets of 5x7 TMax400 (senior portraits of my boys) and 7 sheets of 8x10 (Death Valley& Yosemite). I do not have internet where I processed the film, so managed to do without the LF Forum for the night...

I have not used HC-110 for a long time (and never in a Jobo drum (3005), so with no notes and no internet to check the Massive Dev. Chart, I winged it. Hit it pretty good. Perhaps a bit more development if I use HC-110 again.
