Can I suggest something? Nevermind.
I'd like for more people to chime in with what they want. I'm for whatever makes this the most interesting for everyone - or at least for the greatest number of people.
I am planning to present my image with a list of the process and why I elected to the approach the subject as I did.
I'll consider this the sign-up month (may be cut short if 16 people jump on all at once) and then I'll send the negatives. Then we should all wait another month or so for everyone to get it and indicate they're finished with it. We won't show any results until a majority says they're ready.
My idea is no results are posted until a good number of people have said they're ready (I'd like over half those who have received negatives to say they're done). So, however long that takes. I'd like for all the negatives to have been received, also. I don't anticipate any posting of results until October.
It'll probably be another week or two before the negative even lands here.

Nothing gets decided by committee
For what it's worth, I prefer the original plan.
I think we should aim Christmas Eve for The Great Reveal
It should be before everyone completely forgets about it. I was thinking Thanksgiving

Whose Thanksgiving ? Ours or theirs ?
I think the main idea of delayed publishing is that those who are still working on it won't be affected by results already posted. How about two dates.
I have already downloaded one of the digital scans, so I am all ready to go, if I can be allowed to participate at this late date.
Of course you can! Please go ahead. The more, the merrier. Welcome aboard!
