Sounds fun, but I don't have a flat-bed scanner, so I'll have to pass. I look forward to seeing the results, though.
There are options though: you could photograph the resulting print, even with a decent smartphone or a (borrowed) digital camera. And I'd be perfectly willing to scan your print and return it afterwards. Finally, you could do a "digital" print by only making a digital edit and submitting that. Please do join, in any case!

I would like to join for a scanned file. A torn rotator cuff has sidelined me from my analog darkroom

I didn't quite understand the rules.
Can I participate digitally and edit it digitally and share it with you?

What is the main idea? You make 16 identical shots in order to see what kind of print manipulations the others do or how they choose to print/edit your negative?

At any case i am quite interested to enter for a scanned file

@gbroadbridge - absolutely.

@nikos79 - Koraks will do a good scan of the negative I send him and make it available to people who want to edit scans or make alt prints from a scan.

What is the main idea?

The main idea is to do something fun. Different people do different things so we may end up with a number of very different photos from the "same" negative. Whatever anyone wants to do with it is fine.

If all 16 of your negatives are subscribed for, I'd be happy to try it with the scanned digital file.
But as I posted originally, I'd like others to get the first crack at the negatives.

There are a couple of negatives yet to be claimed.

Aren't you supposed by now to be heading to Hernandez, New Mexico, to shoot these negatives ?

I mean, if you aren't going to make this challenging...

😏😊😅

Ha! He barely had time to shoot one sheet.

Actually, the reason I had to stop at 17 exposures (16 for everyone else - one for me) is the light was changing rapidly. I set up to take the photo at just before 7am. The sun was coming up behind me.

It's 35 mm. If I do this again, I may use 120 film in a 645 back.

We'll see how this one goes.
