Lens CLA/Repair Recommendations?

Hello forum! Always gotten some great advice here.

Bought a GX680 body for parts (got a lens with it) as part of the deal. It's a Fuji GX MD 125mm lens. The inside looks very dusty and hazy. This camera was clearly not stored well. I'd like to use the lens, but I think it needs to be opened and cleaned. I also have another lens from the RZ system that possibly needs two elements re-cemented.

I read some good reviews about Midwest Photo Repair, but apparently they closed in Feb. Does anyone have any lens shops/repair places/individuals they would recommend for something like this?

I can second Frank as a reliable repair source. Also quite good is Dave Easterwood in Michigan.

Unfortunately, both are semi-retired so you will wait quite a while for the work to be completed.

I actually sent them to Dave back in March. He confirmed receiving them and said he'd be in touch in a few days. I haven't been able to get a hold of him neither via email or phone for months. Anyone have any idea of he's doing okay? Or is he just a very bad responder and I'll hear from him when I hear from him? I was debating swinging by his address at some point because I'll be taking a work trip in his area soon.

Frank is the man. Just got my restored GS645Pro back. Did not take a very long time and my camera was pretty bad.
Highly recomended.

Dave can be really intermittent in getting back to you, in my experience. Keep trying.
