Jim 17x has been a member since 2012, made over 150 posts, participated in at least three postcard exchanges and been a subscriber for at least part of his time here.

And none in two months. No participation in this thread since October 2012. 4 posts total, all before camera's launched.

This ain't my round, these aren't my cameras, but knowing how these things work, not a good bet. I have nothing against the guy, but zero participation means he just might not be interested enough to do the right thing.

Agreed, tim. Nevertheless, since we did open participation on a first-come basis, we should attempt to hold to it. The best compromise may be to give him a few days to affirm his interest, and then move on. We'll give it a few more days, and if he hasn't responded, we'll move on. This is in line with the rules we posted early on.

But you raise a great point. How to best minimize the risk, knowing we'll never truly eliminate it? We've thought about setting minimum participation criteria, and we should have that discussion in earnest, but I hate the idea of leaving new voices and participants out. We've all been there once, right?

God Save the Queen has no ramparts in it.

Yep. Steve is from the Isle of Wight, UK.
Its historic name was Vectis, which Minolta appropriated for its somewhat odd APS SLR.

We all know the beetles just couldn't find anything to rhyme with Vectis, it was just too dear.

In fairness, some of the people who originally signed up for this round have likely shuffled off this mortal coil or moved back to their home planet by now.

Or are simply quietly following along. Maybe we don't have any insanity to add

Then what good are they? I ask you....

The problem isn't that my CooCooClock is talking to me, it's that I understand him.

My CooCooClock stopped talking to me a long time ago. It simply wasn't getting any satisfaction out of it. I'm glad yours still tries, though it will soon find how pointless it all is

I assume you mean The Beatles.

My home town is Ryde. When Ticket to Ride was released, our local council sent The Beatles some tickets to Ryde. Unfortunately, they could make use of them.

I don't have a dog in the this hunt, but I do enjoy the banter. Mostly I'm a stalker:whistling: But if someone does drop out I'd gladly take their place.

To the gratitude of all, when it comes to a missing camera, Shawn hunts it doggedly.

Could I interest anyone in a double exposure round? The camera gets send around twice, same roll exposed twice. Overlap would be completely spontaneous and random.

Just a thought.

That is something I am experimenting now with my class. We are shooting out 35mm rolls, then I use a leader puller, pull it and reshoot it again. I set the cameras ISO setting to double the film box speed to halve the exposure so we dont get super dense negatives that cant print.
