My IIIF will not advance film. The take up spool slips on the the advance spindle. I have a number of Leica RF and only the IIIF has a problem. Spools work on other cameras (like my If) but not on the IIIF. If I advance the wind knob the takeup spool slips with the least amount of finger pressure. If I remove the spool and put finger pressure on the takeup spindle the spindle doesn't slip. So the problem is that the (any) takeup spool doesn't grip the advance spindle. Can't see anything physically wrong. Ideas?

Adjusting the tension requires taking the camera apart, unfortunately. The spool is only for take-up, though. The sprocket should feed the film to it and the spool should wind the film without much tension. Does the spool easily pull out of the camera?

I find the IIIf often fails to load film properly, for some reason.
