I am offering my Leitz 28mm Summicron in excellent condition. Many feel that this is the best 28mm lens ever made anywhwere. It comes with front and rear caps, and the correct shade and a very well built and desirable 28mm viewfinder from Voigtlander which goes in the shoe of your Leica. Also comes with a quality UV filter. The lens functions perfectly. A couple of years ago I sent it to Don Goldberg for CLA as the focus ring seemed to have a little drag in it. That is now perfect as is the aperture ring.

One of the snaps on the shade is broken but the shade fits well onto the lens and stays in place. Does not turn out of position nor fit loose.

Looks like the orthographic corrector changed “aspherical” into “asphyxiates”...

Since the lens is rarely found complete with the oxygen tank and hose nearly everyone that has had a 28 asphyxiates is dead. I would avoid this lens like the plague.
