I knew it. You basically ARE the internet.

Actually, cats are the internet. They rule the world. I have proof. Image courtesy Heidi Raatz. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1393251177.023308.jpg

Keep searching for the magic film developer / film / iso . I would give it to you but even after 50 years I can`t find it. Perhaps you will get better luck.

In the mean time, try Delta 100 and D76 1:1 or simply stay with the bigger neg. There really is no substitute

===

thanks for the suggestions guillaume and winter
but being a reformed vegan i cant handle bacon geese
and i am no longer allowed on the gatlinggun website,
they found me out there and my 8 other phoney usernames
drat those ip addresses!
i even tried posting things with character recognition software
using another language as my base. they are smaart there.

but i will consider getting a 100foot adapter back and a motor drive
for the penft .. now that i cant afford it!

the cameras and lenses were all sold with
a low BIN price of one cent,
now i can get on with the
carpet sweeper revival forum on the dysen forum
definitely not tin xl , pt, im rich now!

THAT's what the LF cameras were good for... something would have happened.

awww shucks
now you tell me

and to think i sold $30,000.00 worth of large format stuff
for like 30$ ...

i guess i will have to buy it back, cancel the auctions
and start throwing bricks at the cameras!

now that sounds like more fun than magic bullets

nope this is not the deleted thread, no metaphysical experiment here steve ..
i was in dire straights, lost in a sea of large format and ultra large format
cameras, lenses and film And accessories.

i tried not to fall into the rabbit hole, but i did, and jeeves warned me
i didnt listen.

i forgot that negative size is irrelevant and more trouble than its worth
i learned it is impossible to make a 30x42 image from a 11/14 negative to look like it
was taken with a minox or leica or penft .. the big negative looks nice but
it doesnt have the microcontrast, edge, grain or jenesaisqwios...

its too bad the blog geniuses dont tell people what they are getting themselves into
chasing magic projectilles and whatnot... just a bunch of gobbldyguc

I hate tiny negatives. It's like trying to write a Steinbeck novella in a 140-character tweet...

yeah i can see that, but its impossible for me to make my humungus films to look like tiny ones
i can't stand the tonality and nuances of large for mat film, even if it isn't for mat

It's the nuances that make a Steinbeck novella worth reading. He was very good at not just hitting random keys on the typewriter.

but if there were a million monkeys ...
and a million tweets
will the butterfly in columbia flap its wings
so we dont hear thr tree fall in the woods when we arent there
