Can’t log in from my phone or iPad. Get a message saying Safari can’t establish a secure connection. Hopefully they will get it sorted out, although I have been spending a lot more time here ever since I went down the Nikon rabbit hole. Been shooting one or two rolls a week and usually with a different camera for each roll. :D

Just tried with Firefox. I get a security error and it looks as if their certificate expired on 26 December. (I was able to accept the risk and go past that as an option.)

I'm using FIrefox and it won't let me accept the risk.

My Kaspersky is keeping me locked out because the certificate expired. But I can't figure out how to allow the site to work. There used to be a way to bypass the Kaspersky block. Does anyone know how to do that?

Last time this happened I don’t think there was a way around it. Patience is a virtue!

Perhaps their bill paying system forgot to take into account bellows extension :whistling:.
December 26 is a terrible day to use as an anniversary date for paying bills!

The Authorities are Aware of the Problem and Will Rectify it at the Earliest Possible Opportunity.

Will check the bellows factor while we're at it...

Apologies for the hassle, and thanks to everyone who got in touch to alert us to the problem.

FWIW, Edge and Firefox allow me to override and get in, Brave does not. I've dropped by a few times through the day; some folks have been logging in and posting.

Oren, thanks for the update. As a side note I seem to have a lot of extra time on my hands and have actually been able to get out and photograph.

Thank you for this and for all the responses.
And michael_r regarding your post about Tin Can, I'd have given it a 'like" if that was an option on this forum.

Kapersky has been keeping me locked out as well. Haven't been able to find a workaround so I guess I will have to wait it out as well.

You can access the site if you use incognito window and then go advanced to bypass the issue. They are working on the issue.

I think this happened last year. Don't you get a bill from them that you pay in advance? Maybe you can put a reminder in your calendar.

I guess I just don't know how to allow an override, but I can't access the site with Microsoft Edge.

Here's what I get, running Edge in "InPrivate" mode: the browser shows an error message with two buttons below it - "Advanced" and "Go Back". Clicking on "Advanced" brings up additional information on the certificate expiration, and below it there's a link "Continue to www.largeformatphotography.info (unsafe)".

We don't operate the server - the hosting is donated. So there's inevitably an extra step involved in sorting out the occasional hiccup like this. Again, apologies for the hassle.

No problem accessing the site at all via Tapatalk. Got the security thing using Firefox on my phone. Selected 'Advanced', then 'Accept Risk and Continue'.

The site has HSTS enabled. When that happens, it tells your prowser to always requires HTTPS, which your browser remembers even when the site doesn't. I don't know how long it takes a browser to forget HSTS has been enabled, but its a while. The two workarounds I know of are a) using private/ingognito mode b) use a different browser that you haven't used to visit LFPF before. With a) you are essentially over riding the browser's cached info, and with b) you're using a browser that hasn't learned that it should always connect with HTTPS.

@Oren Grad, @abruzzi

Thank you for the help. Using "inPrivate" mode with Oren's help, I am able to access the site. Man, I miss my daily ingestion of LFPF!

Does anyone know what's going on with the largeformatphotography.info site? I get security alerts from both FireFox and Chrome, and neither browser will let me access the webpage.
