I think some people ordered directly from FotoImpex. It's not available at Freestyle yet.

I think all XT-3 users are currently from other side of the puddle. We have the luxury of Fotoimpex (4 days from order to door, weekend between).

Fotoimpex too. Two bags, otherwise shipping is robbery.

Bought one of the last five bags of D-76 at my dealer to tide me over.
Still haven’t written the last half of the sealed XTOL off.
I might find a use for it or conduct some tests to see how it really works.

Have not heard of anyone in The US getting any of the new Adox, either. Went to the new Freestyle Location and they didn’t have it. Has anyone gotten replacement Xtol from Blue Moon Camera?

I still haven't heard anything from Sino Promise since the initial response to my email about the Trade Concern. Two bags at issue; last week I ordered two 5L bags of EcoPro (I'm down to the last liter of Xtol as replenisher, and it's at 15/16 strength due to a mixing error, so I'm having to add some time). I've also just gotten some 5L wine pouches, so I'll probably mix a new batch of EcoPro as soon as it arrives (I really don't trust the suspect Xtol).

Today I received this message from Kodak/SinoPromise, after emailing them yet again last week to inquire about the process:

"I agree these delays are unacceptable and understand your frustration.

Finally, the list of replacement orders were being shipped via FedEx in April but a system error sent them to incorrect addresses.
The system problem has been fixed and shipments will go out again this week.

I will check on progress and hope you will receive your package soon."

Well, at least I got a response.

Wow, unbelievable. It's almost funny. Sad

So... they shipped a shitload of XTOL bags to wrong addresses. I’m guessing their dog ate the evidence.

Wow what a mess.

Almost certainly this confirms my total lack of confidence in these geniuses. I'm repeating myself. I'm done with these guys.

‘“Shipped to the wrong addresses” That’s almost as good as “Trade concern” Gotta love PR people.

I guess those two bags of XTOL I just received from Freestyle don't exist, then.

Must be nice not to have ever made a mistake in your entire lives. :getlost:

No. If a company promises to replace defective product and does not they need to be called out on it.

I placed an order at a foto dealer, which I hadn't used before. They are carrying Kunze 6x6 slide mounts. Anyway, I noticed they have Xtol in stock and decided to order a bag. I thought it might be new stock. All the other Kodak developers, except for Tmax dev, are out of stock at this shop.

In hindsight it might have been a bit premature to order. I have at least 4.5L of replenisher left. It will last me for another year, or two.

I did buy two packs from Macodirect, in February last year. I mixed the first 5 liters to start a 5L tank of replenished Xtol. Just before this trace concern announcement I mixed the second pack for use as replenisher. That means I discarded the packaging with the lot number before I had a chance to find out about this.

The replenisher has this cloudy, white residue, which didn't dissolve. Still, after half a year of standing around the replenisher is fine. Today I cut of a little HP5 from my bulk loader and placed it on the film gate of a camera in the dark to make a single exposure. Developed it in a roll film container with 35mL of stock replenisher and the result was just fine. Actually a little overexposed and hence a bit dense.

Just a single datapoint for those who want to know. And I can continue to replenish with peace of mind, for now.

They did replace my defective D76, but that was before the changeover. I believe there's a new email address-- contact them politely, ask if your replacement bags got lost, and see what happens.

I need to do this -- I had a response in February promising replacements, but without an EDA. Time to check back...

I sent Kodak a new email at beginning of this week, to the new email address listed a few pages back. No response what so ever.
