This type of delay is no big deal. No reason to get all morose about it. They have made pretty quick progress since the announcement.

It has happened before; it can happen again. It's stock is down 80% this year, it is losing money, the markets have downgraded it, and it doesn't have enough cash to redeem it's preferred stock, which is scheduled to happen next year. It is ripe for another Chapter 11 reorganization, which may be the best way for it to survive....there is no way Kodak goes bankrupt.
35mm is the only still format they're committing to initially. 120 would be the logical next thing, but that's a ways off.which format will be available in your opinion?

Agfa was bankropt to the time everything was ok with this company. From one day to the next they stopped production and Agfa comes to its final end.
What was the reason ? It was just a bad calculation from management. There was a little failure within the figures. So Agfa has to pay some millions at the end of a quarter - but there was no money (somewere around 23.000.000,-
thats not so much to such a big company at all ).
But at the end of that specific month they can't find this money....
To me Agfa has to go bankropt due to the market in any case - but possible just a couple of years later.
Not to be cynical (well, a little bit) but was there a cartridge in there and the cartridge had film in it?
You have every right to be cynical. Classic scam technique. Not that this is a scam, but the technique is similar...Not to be cynical (well, a little bit) but was there a cartridge in there and the cartridge had film in it?
i don't know if they can go bankrupt again, they have started a mining operation ..It's mind boggling that some think that Kodak can't go bankrupt again. However, I think 2019 is the year Kodak has to redeem the preferred stock, not 2018.
I saw this and immediately thought of those amazing eBay listings for boxes of photographic paper, where someone has kindly taken the contents out of the box to show it in the photos...If they had product to show they would be showing product.
I know what you mean... but for marketing purposes I’d expect to see the cassette and see some real developed film. Their marketing department budget can’t be so slim that this is a financial burden!I saw this and immediately thought of those amazing eBay listings for boxes of photographic paper, where someone has kindly taken the contents out of the box to show it in the photos...![]()
If you are a conspiracy theorist that is easy to fake.I'd like to see a 35mm cartridge with the film sticking out of it.
"Ahh, just tape an ektachrome logo over a cartridge of Gold 200, nobody'll know the difference"
The plant smelled like the films as you walked from building to building.![]()
. Yes, I used to smell every film I bought!![]()
