Sal from whence comes your patience?...
I don't know its origin, but will share an anecdote about it. When visiting my late father in New York for the last time in November of 1994 (he died January 2, 1995), I did everything possible to make him feel "normal" despite his being in a wheelchair. He'd always been fastidious about washing his hands after eating. I hoisted him up and supported him from behind at the sink so he could engage in his old routine. His hearing wasn't the best at that point, so he probably didn't know I heard him later say in another room to my mother "Sally's* so patient."
* For those not aware, referring to someone named Salvatore as "Sally" is common in Italian-American families, even for adults. One example in The Godfather is when Tessio's being taken away for execution and he says to Hagen "Can you get me off the hook, Tom? For old times' sake?" Hagen answers "Can't do it, Sally."
Thank goodness. The nonsense police always at the ready.
Most certainly not. I don't seek nonsense out. I don't visit many PHOTRIO forum categories.
However, when in one of them and nonsense appears, I always do my best to set other readers straight about it.
What exactly is Nonsense?...
In this case, nonsense is disgruntled Kodak-haters pissing in the wind bitching and moaning about prices. At PHOTRIO, of all places, a forum that represents a minuscule fraction of the film market's customers. Endlessly repeated whining that accomplishes nothing while occupying bandwidth and others' time. Nonsense, indeed. And, to put a cherry on top, crap like this:
The funny thing with you is that you really don’t come across as someone who has ever held a camera, let alone spent time in a darkroom.
Each of your posts are totally empty with regards to photographic contribution. There has absolutely never, ever, been an informative posts coming out of you. Never.
Projection, much?
Now, someone, anyone, please present documentation of the last time one of these Kodak pricing bitch sessions inspired Kodak (Alaris or Eastman) to lower its film prices. Or even hold them steady. Yeah, crickets.
NONSENSE!
