Kodak had sent me replacements for two bags of D76 that were bad (brown), each with an expiration date of April 2023. When I went to make a batch today, both were bad - they had absorbed moisture and the power had hardened and you could see it was brown. Since Kodak no longer knows how to package their chemicals,, I'm done with them.
It really is too bad that they can't get their act together. It would be one thing if they didn't know the problem was packaging, but when you know and keep making the same mistakes over and over again, that's bad. I don't use any of Kodak's packaged chemicals anymore, and switched to Adox XT-3 for my next batch of Xtol-R type developer. We'll see how that works out. JohnW
