KODAK - BRING BACK Tmax 3200 !!! Asap pls.

Would you agree with? Is there a need of this film ? Is it better than Ilford Delta 3200 ?

No, I doubt that. Maybe 1600 true ISO.

Delta 3200 is just fine. No need for another high speed B & W film. Diluting this market simply makes it weaker, not stronger.

I used the Ilford once. It was not very good.

My standards are different. I use Delta 3200 without hesitation. Developed in DD-X it is a wonderful film.

I actually prefer the look in medium format of Delta 3200 to many films. Have not tried 35mm but it may be a bit grainy for some.

In my opinion there's no need when. Tri-x can be pushed so well

No need for TMax P3200 at all. How about answering this question first: while it was available, why didn't people buy it?
So, use Ilford's Delta P3200 -- an excellent product, and importantly, learn to moderate contrast.
There is nothing at all wrong with this dP3200 But there is a lot wrong with photographers misunderstanding its use.

It's too bad that silver hasn't shown the same kind of progress that digital has---better quality, more tonal range, speed. I guess that all happened in the first 20 years of film, just as it is in digital. I'd love to see a real revolution in available films!

I’d be pleased if they released it in sheets. I can’t find any sheet film faster than 400 and with the tiny apertures used in LF, it sure would be nice to have something you could use on a windy day.

It certainly did.
If someone had described Portra 400 to me in 1990, I'd have asked them what were they smoking and where could I get some.
The last generation of Ektachrome films had some stunningly good options.

I would not be soo sure if the demand to
Tmax is "deemed sufficient" in other words : Now it is the question how to compare with Delta 3200...

What you're saying is ridiculous, how the hell is a wider choice of films bad, seriously?? and it's not going to make the market weaker, if anything perhaps people who have tried D3200 and didn't like it, will like P3200, that means more film being sold.
Once again, some people on this forum try to turn good news into bad news.
