It would be better if they released an even better ultra-fast film. That's what I am expecting.
If it is ultafast we may speek about more than ISO 3200 ? The next point to marketing " Hawk Eyes" ist then ISO 6400 - hope we speak about real ISO 6400 then ?
with regards
Would you agree with? Is there a need of this film ? Is it better than Ilford Delta 3200 ?
with regards
Delta 3200 is just fine. No need for another high speed B & W film. Diluting this market simply makes it weaker, not stronger.
I used the Ilford once. It was not very good.
It's too bad that silver hasn't shown the same kind of progress that digital has---better quality, more tonal range, speed. I guess that all happened in the first 20 years of film, just as it is in digital. I'd love to see a real revolution in available films!
I'm expecting a 1600 ISO film with better characteristics than the P3200. Finer-grained, etc.
It certainly did.Film improved steadily over the decades, all the way to its peak consumption in the late 1980's, early 1990's and beyond.
https://twitter.com/kodakprofilmbiz?lang=en they just did. Funny timing. Only 135 for now, but they don't exclude bringing back 120 if the demand is deemed sufficient.
OK, I'm in for at least one roll. Many of the places I shoot don't even move my meter needle. I was hoping for Ektachrome, but this will do for the moment.
What you're saying is ridiculous, how the hell is a wider choice of films bad, seriously?? and it's not going to make the market weaker, if anything perhaps people who have tried D3200 and didn't like it, will like P3200, that means more film being sold.Delta 3200 is just fine. No need for another high speed B & W film. Diluting this market simply makes it weaker, not stronger.
