That's only because a teapot isn't part of the U.S. culture.

The correct kind of "teapot" has a long crook-neck spout attached near the bottom of the flask, not
the top, so that any foam or bubbles in the emulsion or glop floats at the top, while the fluid itself
comes from the bottom. Not too long ago I noted a stainless mfg which still offers one of these,
what for I really don't know ... certainly not tea! We do have tea parties in this country, but they
generally involve cracked pots.

I love a good cup of tea! Earl Gray is a favorite. I have several teapots including Japanese style.

Now, for those interested, here is the sequence as supplied by Mark. Remember that pouring from opposite corners, as shown, is a required step if you wish good coatings.

My apologies Simon. My word "dogged" was a little harsh. I checked the Harman credit rating....it's OK. Not great, but OK. Sadly, and with Kodak's problems, film production has a stigma. There's no way around it.

I worry for you and other small suppliers bla bla bla, ad nauseum.

Aristophanes, why don't you let Simon do the worrying for his company. If you are truly concerned, go out and buy your first film camera and your first roll of film. Go out and make pictures instead of blathering on about how soon film will go the way of the buggy whip.
