Kodak Axes Digicams, but keeps film

Simon;

Mark Osterman uses a teapot to this day to coat plates. I still cannot do it his way though. I end up with emulsion dripping off my elbow.

Best wishes to everyone at Ilford. Great job you guys are doing!

I'm waiting for Ilford to reintroduce a modern Dufaycolor.

And there's just something wrong about trying to use a coffee pot.... !

The correct kind of "teapot" has a long crook-neck spout attached near the bottom of the flask, not
the top, so that any foam or bubbles in the emulsion or glop floats at the top, while the fluid itself
comes from the bottom. Not too long ago I noted a stainless mfg which still offers one of these,
what for I really don't know ... certainly not tea! We do have tea parties in this country, but they
generally involve cracked pots.

Gentlemen;

I love a good cup of tea! Earl Gray is a favorite. I have several teapots including Japanese style.

Now, for those interested, here is the sequence as supplied by Mark. Remember that pouring from opposite corners, as shown, is a required step if you wish good coatings.

Amen. Simon, you guys are great. Your response to our community with things like the annual ULF cut are simply extraordinary.

Many, many thanks!

What is the emulsion speed of Earl Gray? Or is that name especially associated with the Zone System? I'm
famililar with Middle Gray, but not Earl.

That will be Earl Grey, not Gray!

Steve.

Dear PE,

I only drink Earl Grey tea as well.......spooky

"...results "strongly support" [the hypothesis] that analyst reactions -- negative or positive -- will spur firms to reduce or increase their strategic investments, "and these effects will be stronger during periods of technological change.""

I know correlation is not causality....but...

Aristophanes, why don't you let Simon do the worrying for his company. If you are truly concerned, go out and buy your first film camera and your first roll of film. Go out and make pictures instead of blathering on about how soon film will go the way of the buggy whip.

Well said.
