My timer sits on the table, about 15cm lower than the baseboard, and with a piece of black card taped to the top side of the front of the timer I just tilt the card up out of the way to adjust the timer. I suppose a non-flat timer front panel would mean that you make a sort of box to cover the panel instead of using just a flat card. Basically the same method as described above by several people, so probably it works :smile:
 
I beliwve the CPP has a stronger motor,which was a weak point with the CPE and causedthe unit's premature death.
CPEs are designed for 4 chemical processes like c41 and /or b&w. Cpps are set up for 6 chemical processes like E6.....just to begin with. The task at hand will dictate the necessary tools.
 
I upgraded from a CPE2 to CPP2. CPP2 acts like a PRO machine ;-) and can handle the Expert Drum series (e.g. for 4x5 or larger). No regret since if you look at the right places, they are "dirt cheap".
