Hmm, between Brian, John, Lisa and myself, Seattle's northern suburbs seem over-represented. Our portion of camera 7 should go rather quickly, I think...

Yeah, I think so. Beginning to think that maybe we all should just meet somewhere and shoot, then, drop it by the Kenmore Post Office to go to the next person. Either that, or have a meeting place to do the transfers. Save on postage.

Is there any way the Kenmore Post Office can be persuaded to hold back that camera?
The Washington fence meeting reeks!

I completely oppose the proposition for the WA bandits meeting up.. based on the fact that it might help them win! :getlost:

Ha, that'll be the day... ;-P So, Laura, let us know when you get the camera. We'll figure something out... *chuckle*

I'm planning to take a shot of Kenmore Cameras - that way I'll actually get to see it.

Anyone care to meet me?

Or will you all be there anyways?

If you're coming down with the camera, there's a Tully's really close. We could all shoot 'scenic' Kenmore in half an hour and then air mail it to Colorado.

No worries, Rest of the World, I will remain reclusive and only pass the camera on by mail. I'm waiting for camera 23 before meeting my apug neighbors. :bandit:

With all the random cameras that several ape-huggers have offered for sacrificial canon (or minolta or...) fodder, how about everyone throwing their name into the hat and doing a random camera shuffle with about 8 or 7 cameras moving about at one time and names being crossed off as they move about? Random chaos could be the theme and everyone gets one shot.

I'm usually there. Just look for the potted plant next to the Used Nikon case. That'd be me. The one with usually Nikons hanging from its branches.

But, I guess Lisa (sorry about the name mixup, btw) wants to be a recluse, so you might be coming down here to view Kenmore Camera, then mailing it to her, so she can mail it to me.

It's still going to be a very quick journey through Washington, unless someone either forgets to mail the camera or decides to take a few weeks to pick the right subject to take their photo of. Even snailmail (regular USPS Parcel Post) is only 24 hours from Seattle to Duvall.

I'm very glad to hear that Lisa.. I was afraid I was going to have to fly out and intervene!

Guitstik sounds like an "interesting" idea.. I vote for you as organiser!

John are you a member of the special branch then?

No. He works for Boots. They have branches everywhere (an old advertising slogan which will show my age!).

Hah, you want an ADD member to "organize" something, hmm, not a bad idea. All APUG members with ADD will be the only ones allowed to participate and chaos will reign supreme. I guess the next step would be to start a new thread.

Sounds like a good way to increase my camera collection.

Lets make it Leica and Hasselblad only starting with all cameras being posted to me!

Update.

Can happy recipients veryfy where the camera(s) are right now, please?

And can someone move the discussion of another project to a separate string, as I (and no doubt others) have subscribed to this thread, and I for one haven't the slightest interest in other and competing scemes.
