Issues with the E6 development

oh okay, that could be a possibility too… although i stored provia 100 s with these ektachrome too. and i thought provia is more sensitive.

any suggestions - is this colour shift due to eXpired film or could it be something i did wrong in the developing process? The film I was using was eXpired provia 50f. I processed it with AdoX e6 kit with a fresh batch of chemistry. In a patterson tank following the recommended timing/process.

I have to process another roll from the same batch and was wondering if I could do something in the developing process…

How old is that film? I'm not familiar with 'Provia 50f'. I know the Provia series, but have only worked with the 100 and 400 speed versions. I also have used Velvia 100f. And there's of course, Velvia 50, without -f.
In any case, I'd suspect a processing problem more so than film expiration to be the cause of the massive color shift, lack of dmax etc.

sorry, you are right, this is velvia 50. How could i fiX this development issue? Will pushing it in the development process help?

I can't say, sorry. My first thought would be that the color development step was too short or the color developer too weak.

For me it looks like a heavily expired or hot stored film. Compare with my expired Ektachrome of unknown age.

You're right, that looks quite similar. I've never shot slide film that was so expired as to produce these kinds of results.

Yes that does look similar!!!! okay, phew…
do you think increasing the developing time with the first developer will make any difference?
