I'm using a Vivitar 2800 with a cord. It works. That is until I tried to photograph my brother in law then it didn't work. ???? old stuff. I bought a replacement with the cord just now.
Is there a new unit that I could depend on? It has to have the X sync cord. There is no hot shoe.
Thanks.
I guess there is an adapter to connect PC cables to in order to fire off multiple flashes at the same time? This is a gas.
How does a picture of a cord answer the question, "is there a new flash that works on a Pentax 6x7?"It took 31 posts to answer this question?

These Combi units are made for specific cameras. Your sample is for a Canon. Does it matter which radio set is used with the Pentax 6x7 and Vivitar flashes?View attachment 152891 Yes plugged in the pc port

Buy this (pictured below): attach your flash to it...then plug it in to your pc "X" sinc. (pictured above)

I don't understand why yongnuo or somebody doesn't make a simple auto flash - I'd like a newly remade Nikon SB 80 or something without the TTL parts
