I just checked the Nikon site and it said nothing about this so I suppose it's not true....

Happy April Fools Day ,even if it was true, how much do you think it would cost nowadays ?

You jokesters realize this crap stays on the search engines don't you?

The internet archaeologists will have a great time with this... 1000 years from now!

a reissue of the original F, but with a matrix meter, hinge back, SWM focus capability, Ai-S tab, and aperture priority, would be fucking amazing.

pair it with a 35/50/85 set of f/1.4 lenses that have the optics from the "G" lenses but in manual Ai-S legacy styled barrels with aperture rings.

It's not fun! A Nikon F with AI tab, matrix and aperture priority mode. Simply not fun.

Buy a user F2 DE-1 series E 5cm and some Trix and be happy. Or even some Double-X.

Fs have horrible mirror bounce.

Seriously I understand from something I read online recently that Canon will still make the New F1 to special order, if that is true God knows what the price would be.

Same as the Nikon I understand....an introductory price of $650.00..US.
