As the title says, am I confusing things or Foma 100 sheet films have smoother emulsion side than it’s base?
Recently I have realised this as I have never paid attention but the emulsion side is much smoother than the base. This can potentially mean that ANR glass might be needed for the emulsion side, not the base.
I know certain films have very smooth base, like Kodak C41 films, which makes you use ANR glass for them.
Although I have never had an issue with printing Foma100 sheet film, I found it very interesting.
Or am I wrong?
