Hello. I am Donna. I shoot people and animals for profit. I am on my third darkroom and my fibre printing is quite awesome.

I live in St. John's Newfoundland.

I am re-visiting APUG as I hope to start tinkering with more and more ALT processes. I have already ordered the gear to start bromoil.

2012 I will somehow make my way off this secluded island and take a master darkroom class. Or a class to teach me some other types of darkroom printing. Or something else I have not thought of yet.

Nice to be here!

Welcome Donna from a very wet and stormy U.K today, it's nice to have another lady member to keep up the tone of the place.

Welcome to APUG!!

Donna - hello... again... and welcome back to APUG!!!! :D

Welcome (again) from the other end of the country.

Welcome again from Ohio, but actually I am here in Florida trying to help myold and sick mom and dad get set for the final days of their lifes.

I love to do VanDykes and upon my return I will begin again.

June 2011 I was close to you, I think, I went to PEI and Nova Scotia. Wish I could have come a little farther north too.

Hi Donna -- nice to see another woman here on APUG -- and Canadian too! Can't top that. Welcome from another female Canuck living in the land of the rising sun. ;-)

Hi Donna, and welcome from Inner Canada.

Pleased to see the renewed intro.

May your dreams come to fruition this year. (And if they do, and involve ferries, may any dealings with Marine Atlantic go smoothly...).

I dabble with cyanotype on an irregular basis. The low cost of the materials is a great way to build experience before moving on to other alt coating techniques.

In an effort to make it more of a more regular practice, I have volunteered to teach an intro course locally in April.
If I get organized enough to get a formal handout put together I will try to remeber to pass a copy off to you.

I did do a fair bit of calibrating different materials as a sort of dry run over the holidays.

You may want to also set yourself a deadline for getting a project in alt done.

The old adage from my project management side comes to mind.
Projects have a schedule; ideas and dreams don't.
