Hi all, l lost my left eye’s vision due to COVID booster vaccination and having difficulty to locate burning and dodging point while doing black and white printing using enlarger in the darkroom. Is there any device to help enhance visibility for dodging and burning? Any suggestion is appreciated.

Very sorry to hear this.

Expose a couple of pieces of paper to room light and process fully. When dry, you'll have sheets of paper that are black on one side and white on another. Make your dodging and burning tools from this paper so that when you use them, the white side is up facing you, and the black side is down. This will give you a white surface to see the image you are manipulating and it will thus be brighter.

Please explain how cyan, a minus red filter, changes the exposure to blue and green light.

I'm talking about using cyan without any yellow or magenta. Try it and you will see what I mean.
