Kodak Imagelink HQ is a panchromatic mircrofilm with very high resolution potential. It is available in a variety of formats. This notice concerns only double perforated 35mm 100 foot bulk rolls.

Kodak sells this film at 12.06 USD per 100 foot roll in 35mm perforated stock
with a 20 roll lot plus freight. For the bulk loader this would be approximately .67 / 36 exposure roll without the cost of freight or cassette.

I am interested in purchasing some of this film but at most I want 2 rolls for myself.

If there are other users who would like to join me so that the a 20 roll order can be placed contact me privately here at APUG. I am hoping to restrict this to the USA so as to eliminate red tape.

Oh, Claire, let us loan you a decent MF so you don't go reinventing the agonies of trying to get continuous tone from microfiche film. Or do you have a special application where super-high contrast is appropriate? I can imagine some applications of the later, especially rendering certain rock facings. Just curious.

I'd be interested in 1 or 2 of those.
Actually developing microfilm in caffenol LC (Donald Qualls recipe) can lead to very exiting results

well thats 2 down. 16 to go.

Don't feel sorry for me JJ I already have an RZ67 with 4 lenses. I also know what I enjoy using.

Based on results with Agfa Copex Rapid in Caffenol LC+C compared to previous results with both Copex Rapid and Imagelink HQ in Caffenol LC (without the ascorbic acid), I'd expect to get EI 32 to 50 with excellent tonality and resolution with Imagelink HQ in Caffenol LC+C. I'd expect to use 12 minutes, agitation every 3rd minute, as a starting point.

For reference, Caffenol LC+C is:

2 tsp (slightly rounded) Folger's Coffee Crystals (or exact copy)
4 tsp (level) sodium carbonate
1/4 tsp ascorbic acid
water to make 8 ounces (for one roll of 35 mm)

With no silver solvent, expect very high acutance; long development with low agitation helps the film speed and controls contrast. Grain of these films is so fine that the lack of solvent action is inconsequential.

Oh, and I'd love a couple rolls, but a) I'm not sure I'll have even that much money, and b) I'd really much prefer to have Copex Rapid in the same format and quantity.

I too would be interested in perhaps 2 rools. I will have to check with a friend to see if they want a roll.

13 rolls left to be ordered before I have 20 rolls accounted for.

Need 2 rolls. Need expiration date also and shipment information. How do I make sure it is not x-rayed or baked during shipment?
