I don't like it but I think I understand it. I see no reason not to reiturate that some of really do want a t-shirt and really do want to be able to order online.

I really wanted a t shirt, and I really wanted to be able to order online, too.

But that won't stop me from making the call tomorrow. Wait, what's the time difference between Puerto Rico and UK???

Michael- just to let you know you aren't the only one.

Hey Simon!
I like the shirts and have been bummed ever since this morning when I found I'd have to call to order one.
Is there any way you could set something up with Sean so we could order them through the APUG PayPal system? I have no problem paying a tad extra to cover the use of PayPal if you guys can work this out.

Kevin, thanks for that, it looks as though the XL I ordered should cater for my size:smile:

Yes, the lady who took my call was extremely pleasant and helpful stating that they had just pulled out one of the shirts and measured it. As I wasn't too long after you, I assume they had opened it for you. It really was a pleasant conversation, not the typical name, number, rank type of phone ordering I have experienced in the past.

For those who have a problem with making a telephone call to the UK like Ole offshore, I sympathise, for everyone else you just have to pick up the phone and dial.

Mick.

Mick, if L fits me, two of you will fit into an XL.

Yes, it was the most polite customer service call I remember in a long time.

If I wear Small to Medium-sized clothing at the GAP in Canada, what sizes should I order for the Ilford polo shirts? I checked my button-up long sleeve shirts and they say 15 1/2.

The 15 1/2 is your neck size, and refers to inches. Your shirts may also indicate their sleeve length (32-33??) as well.

A US/Canada medium corresponds to about 38-40 inch chest size.

We are a full service website here on APUG

Dear All,

Firstly, sorry about the sizing information ( inches etc ) we should have that on the website tomorrow, as to payment systems and ordering by e.mail, we are not a retailer, we do not sell to the general public, we are a photo manufacturing company so our capability is limited, we are doing this for Apuggers : I guess we could take a cheque, I am sure our staff will help in anyway they can.

Please don't take me wrong: I wasn't complaining. In my view, it is extraordinary that Ilford is willing to do what is, for lack of a better way of phrasing it, fluffy work, just for our little community. What a wonderful gesture! I just wish I could participate. I hope that you folks sell every shirt you have, and then some!

Dear All,

Sorry about the delay in putting the inch sizes up on the website : I can assure you it should be up today.

Many thanks to all who have placed orders so far...

Great looking shirts Simon. Any chance of a white shirt with black logo? (I don't like black shirts, I get uncomfortably warm if I wear black))

Mine arrived this morning.
The logo is just the right size - big enough to be noticable, but not overbearing.
Well done Ilford!

Wow, that's *very* fast and *way* under the 28 days . Then again, that's UK internal... Let's see how fast the international shipping is.

Their warehouse can't be the problem: I've seen it and some of the people running it during the APUG Ilford tour, and it looked pretty efficient to me  .

Mine also arrived. Unfortunately I was out and so will have to wait until Monday to pick it up at the sorting office <tsk> ...

Usually the "allow up to 28-days" thing is just to cover a seller in case they run out and have to re-order stock. When I ordered, the lady that took the order said it would be posted within a couple of days (as obviously, it must have been). Hopefully overseas items were sent airmail or it may be some time before the Antipodes receive theirs!

Cheers, Bob.

I would very much like to have one, I guess, I"ll have to call the UK to order? right? No e-mailing to reserve one then sending a check?? It would save on the overseas charges. Not complaining, just wondering? Of course now that I think of it, my brother in Germany never wants me to send checks or even cash as he doesn't Like the trouble it takes to convert them to Euros.
