OT but I need your help.
While online getting the bugs worked out of next weeks plans, I seem to have been visited by a one Trojan-clicker.win32.Tiny.h
I switched to a different computer, but do not know anything about this little guy and when I look up info on it I get lots of other unknown (to me )software that would just love to get into my computer.
Anyone know this guy and know a safe, free and easy way to get him out of my hair?
All suggestions needed.
Ray
Well there does not seem to be much help comming in on this...
I still have limited and dubious info, but to sort of close up this OT side thread
let me briefly sum up the known details.
This virus comes in on a presumably fake UPS (United Postal Service) e-mail.
It seems to take over the desktop as a screensaver might and reminds me of one After Dark Module I had on an old Mac years ago, "BAD DOG!"
I have read, but trust no one,
that Panda Labs ID'd it as the Trojan "Agent JEN"
It may be a new variant; one person said only 5 out of 30 protection software could even spot it as being suspect, much less ID it correctly.
A Japanese speaking Chinese Symantec (Norton AntiVIrus) rep told me they could not help... but perhaps another company might!
I know nothing about this stuff. Just in case anyone else gets this "United Postal Service" mail... do not open it unless you know what you are doing.
Ok no more OT posts... I promise!
So Let's get on with the show and have a nice trip!
