Stephanie, please tell me your developing time and dilution for HP-5+ and Rodinal. I have not had much luck with this combo.Stephanie Brim said:I'm down to four rolls of HP5 and I really like the stuff in Rodinal. What would be the concentration of the sodium sulfite solution you mention.
Does this tame the grain and not reduce the sharpness?
. I use two teaspoons of sulfite per 8 ounces of solution. It does smooth out the grain. Negatives are still sharp. Tonality is still beautiful. It does speed up the development times a bit, as well. Kind of looks like using D76 but with better shadow and highlight detail.| Photrio.com contains affiliate links to products. We may receive a commission for purchases made through these links.
