Hi Adam, may thanks for sharing first.
The German names are not a problem at all, I am German. If anyone need it, I can translate it to English the next weekend.
I guess we have 3 formulas for Part A, B C? And the 3 parts have to be mixed 1:1:1?
Dis you get just the receipt for the Bleach? I expect for the developer and fix, just normal B/W products can be used, but if you have it, it would be interesting anyway.
Cheers,Peter

Do you have any further information? Not clear what 4 BZ or 3 BZ-K means...

Ah. I will check and ask my sister in law who is labor assistant. Thought, you have additional advices and how-tos. Please keep us in the loop if you get additional infos or are able to mix and use it successfully. I will do the same.
Cheers,
Peter

Adam, if I have a look to the table, one og the rows have the "NTA" under Konzentration and the 1,526 under Edukte. Could it be that NTA has been displaced and was originally for the Fix bath? Did you get an file, e.g. Excel with it? And can you provide it, if yes?

Ciba / Ilfochrome Fix was exactly the same thing as Ilford non-hardening fixer.

I will send you Excel.
There you have it written exactly how many grams per liter.

Hi Adam,
Something is missing in the Excel, a lot of fields shows an formula error.
Are you able to open the Excel and see the values?
Thanks
Peter

I think I know one phrase in German.
But to my mind, "BEZUG" is a great word for a formula error! 😇

I just asked about the reference "error", if something is missing. May be a second sheet that contains the missing cells 😁

Based on the excel spreadsheet that was sent, I have simplified and translated it which can be seen in the attached images. Please do correct me if I am wrong! My questions are as follows:

1. I am assuming that the order in which they were listed in the spreadsheet is the order we mix in yes?
2. I have been repeatedly told that Ciba developer is basically just normal black and white developer, are you guys going to mix your own as per the recipe or stick to what's still available now?
3. I think 4 BZ is 4,4 Benzidine, thoughts?
4. I think 3 BZ-K is benzalkonium chloride, what are your thoughts?
5. The fixer seems relatively straightforward, however, when it states 'ammonium thiosulfate solution,' do you think it is referring to their non hardening fixer as a mixed solution? Same with the ammonium bisulfate solution at 70%?

Thanks

For zhe developer and fix, I came to the same conclusion. Do you know what 7K in the bleach formula could be?

Hi Guys, because I am not a chemist and not all of the parts are clear for me.
Expected, 6 BZ is Benzoyl (Bz, C6H5CO-) ? But is it Benzoyl Chloride, CAS 98-88-4 or Benzoyl Peroxide, 94-36-0 or Benzoyl Cyanide, CAS 613-90-1
And I expect, NTA is Nitrilotriacetic acid, CAS 139-13-9?
