Does anyone familiar with these know if it is possible to defeat the double exposure prevention? To intentionally double expose a frame.
It's an Ikonta 521 4,5x6 novar 75mm 4,5
thanks

Thanks! I was trying to figure out if that was possible in the dark last night but couldn't see how, I had one frame left and didn't want to trip something and loose it too. btw i love this little guy. Just got it as a gift and finished the roll that was in it. Must be one of the smallest medium format options out there.

It's a good idea to learn xya's trick because if you fumble when taking a shot, sometimes the shutter doesn't fire but the preventer mechanism gets tripped so it's the only way you can use that frame. I have one of these and love it. It makes a great walking-around camera, fitting in your pocket and metering the sunny 16 with your mark-I eyeball. I hope you have a lot of fun with it.

The 521A is a phenomenal little camera. I hope you have a lot of fun with it. My only issue with mine is that it is not always easy to tell what shutter speed you have it set for. The trick of releasing the shutter down by the lens bezel does work quite handily for a deliberate double exposure

Thanks for the tips. I just ordered a few rolls of Erista EDU to run through it.
