I also was having trouble this morning as the site would not load the home page before receiving a page not found message. Seems to be working better now but still a bit slow.

General slowness and timeouts today.

Same as Bruce, David and Lee been pretty bad today..

Until about 3 hours ago, it took almost 60 seconds to get one thread to open. Now it works much better, but is still slower than normal. I'm DSL at 500+

Site was down, page not found. No post available. Slow incomplete info. This morning.

-still working on some issues, will post an update soon. thanks

It is slow on IE 6 sp2 and stalls on Mozilla 1.5.4

speed may be better for IE, but Mozilla still can't access the site.

restarted firefox and all is well -- user error sorry.

thanks for the info guys. As of right now is anyone slow? cpu usage is only 0.40% so things should be pretty quick..

Sean there are often days here (Nevada) where the apug server is "not located" today Monday June 05, access was possible only after 6 pm....just got on! I am nearly out of medication :D

I'm showing the same "unavailable to load"
It lasts about 10 min then comes back to normal.

I was reading a thread and the site

"Internal server error...."

"Additional Apache Error 500....."

Slow? Are you kidding. It is so slow, if it went faster it would stop. I gave up several times trying to look at the latest gallery photo.

A few slow response time problems over the last few hours, followed by a 500 error when trying the latest post. Couldn't get to any page after that. Closed and reopened the browser window and the problem went away. Using IE 6.0.2900 in Windows XP Home edition.

that was my fault on the last error, yahoo/inktomi slurp search indexing spider is killin us so added it to a ban list but had a typo..

well I tried really hard to make the yahoo spiders behave, because I do like being indexed by them but they are just out of control. They ignore my robots.txt, and yahoo support gives me zero help. They are hitting us 10-15times a second. I have banned their entire ip range now and our cpu has gone from 4-16% usage to 0.35% usage..
