Just picked up some boxes of FP4+ in 5x4 dated Dec. 2014 - Fresh stocks for a measly £24.94 :whistling:

Does this mean that you actually got the boxes of film, or just that you ordered it? After you posted this I ordered a couple of boxes online on the 19th of March and it is still on back order today.

Paid for, collected, and now sitting in the freezer along with the peas and sweetcorn.

Well what do you know? Email timed at 2237 tonight saying that they have been dispatched! You don't think they're watching, do you?

Not really a bargain, but Process Supplies have put the last of their Supra Endura paper on ebay. It's all 10x8, surface N with a 05/11 expiry. Might be the last chance to buy some fresh stuff with a known storage history.

Not really a bargain but........

The good people of Apugland might know this already but Firstcall Photographic now stock P3/4 ES enlarger lamps. See here - http://www.firstcall-photographic.co.uk/products/240/lamps-p34-es-screw-enlarger-lamp These are the 150w opal jobbies that I've never been able to find elsewhere. I am informed that they're probably Chinese in origin (phillips having stopped making these some time ago) but anything's better than nowt. They're a handsome fiver apiece and they've got plenty in stock, or so they tell me! Regards, B.

What do you think is wrong with Kodak Gold?

Needless to say, that deal expired a while back. 7dayshop price drops tend to only last about 48 hours at most. I picked up 9 rolls anyway, £13 for 9 rolls really was a no-brainer. Like the results I get from Gold personally. Sure, it's no Portra, but neither is the price.

If your local branch of Boots sells film, they seem to be clearing out their own brand slide film (which I believe is rebadged Fuji sensia) mine had rolls going for £1 each process paid.

Read tthis last night and popped into local Boots today just in case. They certainly have it on the shelf, but still listed at £9.99 a roll on a 3 for 2 basis.

Yes but it's Kodak Gold!

I seem to remember it was used for a review of a Nikon F6 I saw way back in the day in Amateur Photographer, the reviewer had taken it onto a cruise ship and somehow forgotten to bring film, it was all he could get from ship's shop and it looked like absolute garbage, reminded me of an ISO 800 film.
And remember this was a review of the Nikon F6 at a time when film was in it's biggest decline.
