Any news on whether Ilford would support this? My money's pretty much theirs if they can come up with a Black polo shirt with Ilford's logo sewn on it. Even if it's expensive to ship from the UK to North America, I'll pay all shipping fees.

A dark cloth with a cape string, Tshirt and hat. A walking Ilford bilboard. "The Delta Ranger" darkslides again! I'd take one of those shirts.

Dear All,

The management have had a 'chat' and yes we will do a 'T Shirt', the mug is a possibility but shipping is difficult. I will let you know the design choices etc a soon as possible and let you choose which one..one thing, it will have to say ILFORD Photo not just ILFORD.

We currently favour white text on black ......

We would probably ship via our US distributor to keep your shipping costs down, and we will make a contribution to APUG for each item sold.

Thanks for all the feedback

Awesome color choices with the white text on black. As for ILFORD Photo, that's awesome too! Please let it be a collared polo T-shirt with sewn in letterings.

Great news. Yes, T-shirts are usually less fragile than mugs  (there are always exceptions, though).
White on black, woohoo, that sounds perfect!

Hm, shipping via your US channels doesn't sound like keeping the shipping costs low for the European customers. Unless the shirts are manufactured and stored in the US... Still, doesn't really matter, I'll buy one anyway!

Tea cups or mugs please. Ilford is british, is it not?

Yes. Fine china teacup and matching saucer. Made out of something that disintegrates if abused - i.e. by putting coffee into it!

I second that.

Or - what about T-shirts for USA, rugby shirts for the rest of us? :D

How about shirts and coffee mugs for each of Ilford's emulsions, so that we can collect the set?

This is so cool! I vote for the polo shirt and mug. Preferably white text in a black field. I look forward to hearing what designs Simon and Ilford come-up with.

Regards,
Darwin

One always puts the milk in last. It shows one has good quality china that does not shatter from the hot tea, unlike the cheap earthenware used by the plebs, dontchaknow...

Absolutely. You put the tea in first and it should be just strong enough that you can just about see the bottom of the cup through it. If you can't see the bottom of the cup, the tea is too strong and has probably been brewed for too long. In this case, have your butler prepare a fresh pot.
