... except it doesn't seem to be getting used...
I'm sure it's getting used or has been sent out for a fresh CLA. Of course it could have been confiscated by his lovely wife and she refuses to give it back since she likes the results she's getting. 😉 We need to just keep our pants on.👖

For the record, my pants are never off when I am on Photrio. I dunno about some of you people ...

Kids, you need to behave, or we will send you to the corner for a time out!

Eventually, I would like to add a longer lens than the 150 that came with my kit. I looked into the 250 f/5.6 SA, and nearly had a stroke when I saw the price... What about the Carl Zeiss Sonar T 250 f/5.6? Or even the Carl Zeiss Tele-Tessar 350mm f/5.6? Anyone out there use these lenses?

I've used the various flavors of 250mm f/5.6 - C, C T*, CF. There is no such thing as a bad Hasselblad lens, but I much prefer the 180mm f/4 Sonnar CF or CFi to the 250mm unless, of course, you want the longer reach.

I find the 180mm to be sharper, easier to handle, with better overall rendering than the 250s. Of course, it won't be that much longer than your existing 150mm which is a classic. I had both and sold the 150mm in favor of the 180mm.

I've used the 350mm a small bit, but it's really unwieldy.

But, that said, a 250mm can still do a fine job if you're in the mood. Here's a shot with a 250mm f/5.6 C Sonnar on APX 25, developed with HC-110B. Scan of silver print:

I have both. Never use the 350, it is beautiful to behold. The mirror pre-release function comes in handy. Long lenses on Blads, Bronicas etc, with top speed of 500th are a challenge. You almost need to lay a sandbag on the camera. You have a RB so you know where i'm coming from.

FYI the 350 CF has the weird filter size, Hasselblad 93, with the aluminum adapter rings that need Vaseline to keep them from seizing. The filter thread is 86mm so you can skip the Hasselblad accessories. The 250 is a nice lens.

I looked at the 350 CF... It's a monster like the 350 APO I have for the RB...that's I've used only twice in the 20 years that I've had it! 😄

I’ve used my 250 Sonar only a few times. In hindsight, it was GAS that I wish passed unfulfilled.
