I want A Hasselblad. Talk Me Out Of It!

Now I am starting to use my single exposure back and holders/stuff, the 500C/M is so tiny when using it with 6x6 sheet film. It'll fit in a jacket pocket.

I've been pondering one of those sheet film backs. Are you hand cutting the film?Would there be any chance of getting a plate into one (glassor aluminium I guess?)

The 500mm C I can't handhold at all. It is absolutely a sturdy solid tripod lens.

Maybe you should try the Gunstock?

I have a Gunstock. It works too, but tripod is for me with 500mm.

Yes I have Hasselblad Scissors for cutting 6x9cm film. Don't think glass plates will fit properly. XRAY does work very well 6x6cm Andrew!

I think a camera with a gunstock and a 500mm would make for an interesting street photo outfit. Before the authorities take you down at least.

At a previous meeting, the owner actually let me play with it, all three lenses, and a roll of film. And yes, it was distracting me somewhat during the last meeting. Probably explains why I couldn't concentrate on that quiz we did...

Andrew, just think about what a aHasselblad system camera would allow you to achieve. Interchangable backs with different films, light and easy to transport, a Zeiss Planar 80mm lens that is the dogs bollocks of optics. Even a Leica lens next to a Zeiss Planar may roll off the table in an effort to compete and commit suicide.
