yeah some where there is a topic i started on that prob i had is getting an enlarger and haven a place to do it and so on plus im in uk

Call me when you get here, we have a spare bedroom.
Honestly though, I've had darkrooms in 3 x3 foot closets with no running water. Just room enough for the small enlarger and trays. Do a little research, a dedicated darkroom nut can find a place to set up anywhere.

well the cost of the enlarger is high here been on that well known auction site and bw enlarger was around 100 plus most of them are pick up only and i have no car and there to far anyway

and shipping is like another 50 so it just is to much for me right now

You don't say where abouts you are in the UK, so I'm kinda guessing that you are up north somewhere... A local s/h photo shop has enlargers passing through on an irregular basis, usually for relative peanuts. His reasoning is that no one wants to buy them. I've had an LPL C7700 from him, and purchased a couple of Durst L1200 from further afield, so from my perspective, there is a market out there.

Shipping however, is the bugbear - A C7700 (20Kg) works out at around £30 via Parcelforce, and an L1200 (45Kg) about £60 if it could go as a single package. Note: I'm not offering the Dursts for sale.

About a month or so ago I found someone selling a de vere 203 with an Ilford bw multigrade 500h head in South Wales. He wanted £150 which is a pretty good price. If I can dig out the details ill pm them to you if you’re interested? The only reason that I didn’t go for it was because I already have one

Pity you don't have a car as there are very good enlarger bargains about. I drove 150 miles to pick up my enlarger and the buyer of my old one travelled much the same I imagine. Could you hire a car for a day? Make a day trip of it. With luck, you may find a sale in a photogenic part of the country.
