I second Koraks' suggestion. I use Bellini RA4 in tray at room temp regularly with very very good results, and it avoids all the problems with cleaning the drums and avoiding contamination. I also second the suggestion to make tests with a full image, at leas in the beginning, it will help you immensely to see what is going on. Also the unexposed white borders are quite useful to have as they can be indicators of other factors (chemical contamination, light contamination...)
